Let's not act like Kobe and Wade together wouldn't wreak havoc even if not being exact chemistry fits. Neither was LeBron and Wade. Prime Kobe would win 2 or 3 rings with the kind of talent on those Heat teams and the competition they face. I only see them struggling with 2012 Celtics, and possibly 2013 Indiana due to rebounding issues. That's it. But I think Kobe could do some binge scoring against weak guards v.s. Indiana that no one on Miami was exploiting.

They beat the Bulls because they were regular season over achievers who had no playmaker outside of Derrick Rose, and the Heat zoned up on him with quality defenders / athletes. They smashed the Bulls, 4 games to 1.
I don't think much is changing by simply swapping out Kobe for LeBron. LeBron's defense on Rose to end games? Kobe is a superior man defender than LeBron, so that's no problem at all.
Prime Kobe's providing what the Heat lacked in the Finals against the Mavericks. That's 25 - 30 ppg / 5 - 7 rebounds / 5 - 7 assists.

Kobe is LITERALLY the most overrated defender in NBA history. The gambles he takes will have a speedy guy like Rose leaving him in a dust cloud.

Kobe's weakness is cheating off of shooters, not defending ball handlers

Umm, Kobe is lazy off the ball. He cheats. Doesn't close out on shooters, isn't much for weak side help or blocking shots on big men.
But Kobe, especially motivated Kobe is an AMAZING on ball defender. Tenacious actually. Kobe's locked up Westbrook, Rondo, done damage harassing Chris Paul throwing him off his game in the playoffs.
He locked up Kyrie Irving last year at an advanced age, well past his prime. And we all know what he did to the King in the All Star Game.

LeBron takes All Star Games seriously. As does any competitor. Damn near cried after the 2012 come back where they came up short.
Don't be upset doe. Kobe's 2x blocks on LeBron happened. All Star Games are competitive, especially mano y mano situations between the best players in the game. Specifically that series of events where Kobe locked him up.
LeBron just never got him back good. He ceded alphaness to Kobe after those possessions. Kobe shook him on a play in their regular season game in Miami. Dunked on him in their matchup in LA, too.
Kobe's probably the 2nd best 1 on 1 player ever though, both sides of the ball, so it's nothing to be ashamed about for LeBron.

Um.. you do realize that the Lakers in 2010 put Kobe on both Westbrook and Rondo and it was successful right?
Old Kobe with a broken down knee was given those assignments because he is a very good man defender and knew how to shade them correctly so that they would be left with one option.. jumpers. Which they werent great at. Neither was/is Rose. And both 2010 rondo and WB were blazing fast.

Be fair about the head to head record when taking teams, context into account.
In the all star game when it was just two competitive ballers going at it, in ISO situations, an ancient Kobe locked up a prime of his life LeBron. It's only being real about the context of things.

this right here, not only kobe shut down bran, he even taunted him to go for the last shot, only to watch a hot potato fly across the court a minute later
