I like how people are acting as if Kobe moving into a bigger body would only be an advantage... there is a reason Lebrons size tend to struggle with playmaking and shooting.

Lebron body and basketball brain are better than Kobes, would only result in a worse player putting Kobes brain in Lebrons body

Kobe's brain won't help Lebron hit wide open jumpers.

Just give Lebron, Kobe's jumper and he'll be the GOAT

It has cost games... but has won even more.... and the question always is, was it the right play? If it is then you can live with that... but ignoring the wideopen shooter (or the greatest shooter of all time) or the wideopen teammate right under the basket just because your ego tells you to take the shot yourself.... is just stupid, selfish....

Smart basketball always wins more games unfortunately.... and you cant be on fire every single night to take over games that way...... but you can ALWAYS take over games by setting up/creating benovelent shots for everybody....

Pass when you have to... see a wideopen pure shooter? Cool, dont you maybe think he might logically have a better chance of making that shot?
See ANYBODY who has a better chance of making a shot? Like lets say a guy right under the basket? Cool, how about passing him the ball?

Shoot when you have to... cant create/see a higher percentage shot for anybody? You are on fire? Cool, go ahead......

Do you want to do anything necessary to maximize your teams chances to WIN like that......

    or...

Do you want to try play hero-ball all the time, sacrificing many games....

    That is the question................

As a bonus for your unselfishness your teammates chemistry will be nothing but love resulting with harder efforts & work ethics as you lead by that example, especially when they see the results which lately has been nothing but championships.......

JABBAR... You being a Laker fan, knowing who your most successful Laker player ever was (Magic) who won games playing the game this way, THE RIGHT WAY... kindof surprises me you dont know how much more successful that Magic ball style of play is compared to Kobe ball........

One of the greatest work ethics with the greatest basketball body. Yeah I think it's safe to say the guy would be even better.

^Lol, where is the evidence that Kobe has a greater work ethic than LeBron? Just typical stringing words together without any proof.

Lebron has a higher basketball IQ than Kobe, so this would undoubtedly make him a worse player.

He has "killer instinct" and "clutch gene" and "ability to take over when needed" and "will to win".

Umm Kobe's work ethic is legendary, not saying Lebron's is shit by any means but Kobe as he is now has a more complete game offensively than Lebron. There's no way in hell any team is letting Kobe shoot open jumpers in the finals.

How many rings did both player contributed to both their teams? His 'hero ball' win and lose some games but that is part of playing basketball and the risk of that shot. Kobe was successful with his style of play as Magic was with his and Lebron is with his right now. There is no right or wrong here.

In order for Lebron to be the way he is, there is no way he doesn't practice hard. He doesn't seem to coast at all. He is a mixture of god like genes mixed with hard work.

Kobe has good genes too but Lebron is on another world. Kobe just mastered the little things needed for him to still be a legend.

    Terrible.

The Heat would break up by next season. KobeBron would run off Wade and Bosh.

So more complete offensively = more work ethic?

I mean, you don't think LeBron throws up a million jumpshots in the gym and has been doing for years to improve his jumpshot?

Some people just aren't as talented at shooting, LeBron being one of them. Not surprising considering he grew up as a PG, and then started utilising his dominant body to attack the rim over undersized kids. Kobe grew up having to hoist up millions of shots, and he's got the touch.

That doesn't necessarily mean Kobe works harder. I mean, he might do, but we don't know.

LeBron's body isn't just athleticism. Some people act like he's a 6'8 250lb sack of meat that lives off his talent. I don't think people realise the work he puts in to maintaining that level of physique, and that's just the start.

Both these guys work hard. Harder than anyone else. Ultimately that's what makes them two of the greatest players ever.
