I wouldn't say Kobe is a complete player offensively. He's too much of a "one or the other" type of player. Either he'll go out and have 13 assists and low scoring numbers or 30 points and 3 assists. For whatever reason, his mind works in a predetermined way where he's gonna decide how he's going to play before the game starts. He doesn't play on the fly offensively.

It'd probably be a net win for Kobe because he has better footwork and a post up game, but he would lose foot speed and agility, as a 6'9 guy simply isn't going to be as fast as a 6'5/6'6 player (provided that they're both good athletes to begin with).
