No, I'd rather have him keep his mouth shut and become better with PR. This dude, outside of his point guard skills when he played, is an idiot. Don't get me wrong, I've always been a fan of his, but this year has been one complete clusterf*ck for him.

He out kicked his coverage with this job anyway. Why on earth would they put together a team chalk full of verteran talent, then give the coaching job to basically a contemporary of theirs and expect the players to take his leadership. He was never even an assistant coach, and Jason Kidd has always had a few screws loose. Too much, too soon. Pressure is getting to him this early too.

They do, don't misunderstand me. But he is the brains of the operation. Phil had MJ, and made him pass the ball to victories. You probably don't see how that's relevant but if you think Kobe is selfish ballhog you should've seen MJ in 1989. Holy crap now that was a ballhog. Heck he had Shaq and Kobe, both headcases and he three peat with them too.

My point is that I think the problem comes from his inexperience as a coach, coupled with injuries of course and a team that is obviously still trying to gel.

That would be applicable if half the team wasn't injured which the losses are now caused by a bunch of scrubs. Is he surprised to lose or is just accepting a lousy team and getting comfortable with losing? This guy is dishonest... just like the time he spilled his drink to buy some time for a timeout.

He actually was referring to the locker room reacting to the losses too happily. He's right. JJ for all he's done is flatline. Deron too. Garnett and Pierce leave without talking to anyone depending on their mood. They are a pretty chill bunch for a team that loses every day. I don't think him calling them on it is an issue.
