Who here can grow a full beard? Do you ever sport one?

I can, and this is the first time I've worn a legit one. I wasn't able to grow a full beard like this the last time I tried (I was 21 when I first gave it a shot, now I'm 26). The first time I tried it one of my old GF's had a thing for beards so I 'grew it out' but it was kinda patchy and I never really let it grow enough so it never amounted to anything beyond a weak looking 5 o'clock shadow. Now I've got a full blown old man beard going and have had it since November. My beard has brought me nothing but confidence, success and good fortune since sporting it. What are your guys experiences with beards, can you grow one, do you ever wear one, does/did having one appear to affect your success or confidence in any way whatsoever?

I got a strong jaw line and high cheek bones....I got to accentuate those features so I keep it clean. Sometimes I rock a skinny lined up mustache and goat.

Where do you work that doesn't allow a beard? You a surgeon or something? I work in an office environment and I couldn't imagine anyone telling me I couldn't grow a beard for appearance reasons. A well groomed beard is like a nicely fitted suit, it can look good.

I do security. The company I work for only allow you to have a mustache but I get by with a chin strap. We can't have long hair or anything like that. Kinda like the military

Oh I see, militant/police/security jobs do seem to have strict appearance rules. Funny that they allow a mustache, hardly anyone can get away with a mustache these days without looking like a pedophile
