Lol I don't know we were drunk shooting the shit. We collectively bet another friend 5k the week before that he couldn't make 6 out of 50 half court shots, and we won. We're a bunch of poker players/ gamblers so we'll bet on anything pretty much...

I like your chances then from that information. Shows that 1k isn't much to him, so he probably won't push himself to the max trying to win. If he suggested the bet, I may be a little worried if I were you. Maybe he knows something you don't.

How close was he? Seems like a decent bet. He has to make just over 1 out of every 20 shots, which is doable but far from a guarantee. I'd practice a bunch before hand with 5k on the line.

He only made 3. He then did a rematch with one of us for 3 in 25 and hit the 3 in his first 6 shots and kept going and made 6 in 30.

There's alot of variance, he had alot of in and outs the first time around
