It's amazing that Tom Selleck was already older in the 90's in those pics and yet presently in 2014 not even close to looking like the worst of the people who were on that show.
For a Hollywood actor he must've lived one of the cleanest lives ever.
Also personally didn't like or dislike the show. At the time my girlfriend was Italian American and loved that show, she used to come over my place and turn it on and tried to make me watch it, I would literally look at that show and her like
... just not my type of humor.

Cultural thing, many of the black females I knew or hung out with at the time didn't watch the show on a regular basis, my ex watched it religiously.
The humor wasn't the type of humor that completely crossed color lines all the time (not that a sitcom needs or has to), the cast, their hangout spots on the show, and some of the struggles they went thru didn't as well.
This show came out in the 90's when "being black" (so to say) on TV was just starting to be acceptable on a social level by the majority and mostly due to the Hip Hop explosion of the 90's which was also supported by suburban Caucasian kids.
They watched shows like "Living Single" (which my ex used to also watch at times which btw I also thought was not a good show) but the point remains, Friends was catered to a broader Caucasian audience whereas the "rip-off show" Living Single" was not but the premise of both shows were kinda reflective of society and the audience it was intended for.
TV and music usually go hand in hand with the themes of American society at the time.
There... articulated version of my initial "my ex was Italian" post.
