[QUOTE=Magic 32]If Lebron had played the 2004 Pistons and the 2008 Celtics, I would agree with the two games mentioned in this thread.

No surprise, but I don't believe anyone brought up Russell's double OT game seven performance in the '62 Finals...with a 30 point, 40 rebound game.
Nor West's game seven of the '69 Finals... a 42-13-12 game.

In people's defense, the OP did provide the qualifier, "that you've seen."

True.
I didn't see Russell's game, but I did see West's.

Re: Best Single-Game Playoff Performance
First game that came to mind was Charles Barkley dropping 56 on my Warriors in '94 I think.
MJ, Shaq, Duncan, and Hakeem all had some amazing playoff performances as well.

Re: Best Single-Game Playoff Performance
That I've seen is probably LeBron against the Pistons. His game against the Celtics was probably much higher in magnitude, but back in 2007, LeBron still didn't really have a jumper, had a very weak supporting cast (no shooters to take pressure off) and the Pistons were still a top defensive team in the league. They were the higher seed, and had the homecourt advantage. Literally all the odds against Cleveland and somehow, LeBron goes insane, scoring 29 of their last 30 points (including all their points in overtime). I've literally never seen a player dominate that much down the stretch of any game ever. This was a guy "with no jumper" making every jumper, including end of shot click bail outs.
2012 LeBron was a more mature and better player, so I wasn't as shocked, but that was also one of the greatest games I've seen as well.

Celtics go down 3-1 if they lose that game. Also started a 6 game win streak that basically put them into the finals. Prior to this game i don't think anyone thought they would make it to the finals.
44 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assist was a good game as well.

Re: Best Single-Game Playoff Performance
There are simply too many of Kobe's games to list, but this one stands out to me. How Kobe had the endurance to put up 38 shots (for a very respectable 37 points) against that tenacious Spurs defense was remarkable, especially with ballhog Shaq on his team. Truly a gem of a game by the Bean.
