Honestly, if not for the huge collapse at home...the Lakers get to 7 and potentially win that series.

That is kind of forgotten...the Lakers should have at the very least gotten it to 7 even with how it went down. And if we are railing on Lebron...can't forgive Kobe for coming up so small in that do or die game essentially.

Ilgauskas and Lebron's shooters opened the floor up for Lebron

Odom was rendered useless because he was given the Rondo treatment. Boston packed the paint and doubled Kobe. Odom could not hit outside shots and when he went inside Perkins and Garnett were waiting for him.

Lebron also got WAY more help on defense than Bryant. Gasol and Odom's defense was trash. Fisher's defense was trash.

Another dude that goes purely by stats instead of actually watching games

No...I watched. You obviously didn't...or are too biased

Lebron's shooters opened up the floor? They did no such thing...Pavlovic was the only guy that shot well and he made 4 threes for the series...everyone else was poor...well, West wasn't bad, but Lebron's shooters did not do anything.

Odom was better than anyone on the Cavs.

So I have no idea what you are talking about.

Lets compare the help shall we; (minutes played)

    Gasol 15/10/3 57% TS
    Odom 14/9/3 56% TS
    Fisher 11/2/3 57% TS
    Sasha 8/2/1 51% TS
    Vlad 7/5/1 53% TS
    Farmar 7/2/1 64% TS

    West 11/4/3 56% TS
    Wally 10/2/1 49% TS
    Z 12/8/2 50% TS
    Wallace 3/6/1 48% TS
    Gibson 6/2/2 53% TS
    Smith 8/4/1 62% TS
    Andy 5/5/0 50% TS
    Sasha 4/1/0 51% TS

Sorry...Kobe had the better team. Got more help (had the two best players out of either supporting cast)...and had Phil Jackson coaching vs ****ing Mike Brown.

Which honestly makes Lebron's series in terms of production pretty impressive given what that team did to Kobe. Not to mention that, but Lebron put up a terrible games in 1 and 2...and still managed to produce about the same as Kobe.

To sit here and act like Kobe fans can go hard on Lebron for his 08 performance against the Celtics...is absurd.

And you can't "remove" Lebron from the defense. He was a part of it and actually his team played better with him on the floor defensively.

Kobe vs the celtics shot 42% in 2008 Lebron went 36%. Lebron wasn't impressive at al no matter what.

Anyways this whole thing started when Lebron stans kept posting 6/24 and I guess they forgot about Bron going 2/18, 6/24, and 5/16

lol Lebron, and people make fun of Kobe for shooting 6-24, but making the key plays to win the Finals series.

My recollection of that series is that Boston put an elite defender on him and also had players ready to help if the primary defender got beat. The Celtics knew that he was not only their only offensive threat, but that he initiated the offense for everybody else.

Dont worry guys, Lebron will stop winning championships, be the best & so on eventually.... hold on out there... you can keep at least reflecting on single games he didnt play well.... sometimes you can talk about his hairline... maybe flopping aswell.... better than nothing...

So wait, LeBron didn't help his team out at all? You just overlook everything else in the series and season? Sure, Ray Allen hit a big time 3. Did LeBron's points earlier in the game not put the Miami Heat in position to win? Damn dog I honestly thought you were a good poster, but I wasn't actually reading your shit. I just saw the Westbrook and figured you knew basketball. Westbrook would be thoroughly disappointed with you homie. Take his pick off and change your name.
