the game plan was simple for the celtics, stop lebron or let lebron score but not his teammates (which they made look pretty easy because of the lack of offensive talent on cleveland). for the lakers you have to game plan for kobe/pau/odom and obviously required a more sophisticated game plan.

They had the same defensive schemes vs any team. James Posey and Paul Pierce gaurded lebron and kobe if they got past them they had the DPOY amd Kendrick Perkins waiting in the paint. KG dominated Pau and Odom defensively.
