So it was fun having the American media spotlight on hockey for a few days, it was fun watching their talking heads discuss how great their team is this time around, it was fun watching them say 1980 was the most important hockey moment (cough cough 1972), but its over, they stopped caring.
So now you can all go back to discussing gay player distractions and measuring Johnny Football's penls girth.
I'm pretty aware of how good out programs are. I posted in another post we have a better chance next Olympics gauging how successful our junior team has become. My comment was more directed towards pinhead's remark potraying Finland as having a small population therefore they have a weak program. That is far from the truth. Finnish youths are inserted into elite men's leagues.
Also I'm not denying that US interest in hockey is low. But isn't that like that in any country where the market is low for that sport? I recognize and respect you're a prideful Canadian, night what you've described is every typical sports fan in the world
