Morrowind...talk about a true adventure. No hand holding, huge game, diverse areas. I hope one day this game is remastered professionally.

My first foray into a true open world game, I was young, it completely enveloped me.

Re: whats your video game mt rushmore?
I really really tried to like Morrowind, but for some reason I could never get into it. The combat system felt awkward and the quests were so generic and boring. It was advertised as a massive open world, but the world and npcs that inhabited it felt lifeless and robotic. I kept hearing glowing reviews left and right of the game so I just kept playing. I even searched and downloaded some of the best mods for it but even that didn't really help in the end. I did like the visuals/graphics at the time and just exploring some of the cities and places was eye-opening, but it wasn't enough to justify sinking more time into the game
