To clear things up because there are a lot of people who, for some reason, are jumping at the opportunity to call Lance this and that: THIS IS NOT LANCE'S MONEY.
George Hill also tweeted out this $1 million spread, and he was just interviewed about it on the George Hill show (Local Indy Radio) and he said it was part of a team meeting mandated by the Pacers Front Office which shows what exactly $1 million dollars looks like, and how quickly it can disappear if you aren't careful.
This was a team event meant to teach fiscal responsibility and being smart with your money. Hill said he did not know who the $ belonged to, but that it came in and went out of the building with a ton of security around it.

EXACTLY. Hell, it was even explained already in the thread, that it wasn't his money. People just take the chance to jump on anything...

And to smooth, I wasn't laughing with you, I thought the bank comment was just extremely ignorant. The banks are the last ones you should trust with your money. I'm going to need to you really study the economy, the bailout, and exactly how everything works and I don't mean what the guys on TV say. I mean, the REAL truth. If you know it, you would know not to trust a bank long term. When the government decides to sh*t on everyone, guess where all that hard earned money you have in the bank will go? See, money is not real. These dollar bills are not real. They are not BACKED BY ANYTHING. In other words, LEGAL TENDER. Meaning, a piece of *****ing paper....Your money in the bank is nothing but numbers that can be erased at a moments notice. Do research on Bank of America, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan and Chase, etc, etc, etc. But thats enough about that. If you really want to put your money somewhere, put it in a TRUST. Don't just make a savings/checking account. You're asking to get robbed.
