How many games could this team take off the Dream Team?
7 game series, composed of non Dream Team stars from 92:
PG: Isiah Thomas/Tim Hardaway/Kevin Johnson
SG: Mitch Richmond/Dumars/Reggie Miller
SF: Dominique Wilkins/Rodman
PF: Larry Johnson/Kemp
C: Olajuwon/Mutombo
Assuming everyone is in 92 condition(IE Magic and Bird aren't prime)

My starting line-up would be
Shaq
Duncan/Garnett(can't go wrong with either i ntheir primes for this team)
lebron(better defender than durant)
Kobe(allen if kobe is not shooting well)
Kidd
This team has no defensive weakness unlike dream team with barkley. whoever is guarded by barkley will torch him.

Why not Shaq? He was more than able to play in the NBA in 1992, he played the best defense of his career in his rookie year & also had his highest rpg in his rookie season.
I'd take 92 Shaq over 92 Mutombo easily.

They'd take a game or two, but I can't see them winning a 7 game series. They have a significant edge at PG (especially depth-wise) and solid bigs, but the DT's bigs at PF/C are simply better players with a lot more depth (Olajuwon is any of their equals, but then there's a drop off to Mutombo compared to, say, Ewing; a green Kemp/LJ are no match for prime Malone/Barkley). Then, of course, there's MJ/Pippen/Drexler, who help give DT the athletic advantage.

Being two years removed from MVP (Magic) isn't prime?
Considering only one player on your roster (Hakeem) won a MVP, and it was two years after 1992, what does that say about your squad?
(Besides that you're a retarded ****** and everyone at insidehoops laughs at you, including all the mods and Jeff. Have a nice day.)

Duncan/Shaq/Garnett/Webber vs Barkley/Ewing/Drob/Malone all in prime shape.

Very good NBA starter

Need to get Shaq on there to swing the odds. A frontline of Hakeem/Shaq will give the Dream Team alot of problems.

The scary thing is, you could slide Hakeem to the 4 and start Shaq at center. Hakeem definitely has the skill set to play power forward. That way you could still have Mutombo, just backing up Shaq. And there would literally be zero weakness in the front court. I hate to call Larry Johnson and Shawn Kemp a weakness, but they really are compared to Barkley. Hakeem there would not only negate Barkley but give this team the edge.
