Anyways, it sucks that we can't get the HK45 in Cali. A sexier and thinner version. Great gun made in Germany.
The one I used was a 9mm. It was my first time, so the dude at the range suggested that a 9mm would be nice for beginners. They were also renting assault rifles and shotguns. Gonna try out the AR-15 the next time I'm there.

Had a bit of a change of heart and decided to trade in for a GLOCK 23 .40 Gen4:

This gun is a little bit bigger and the 40cal has more stopping power than a 9mm. Only problem is that this obviously causes a little more recoil but it should be easy to get used to. Once cool thing is this gun can convert to shoot .357, .9mm and even .22 rifle rounds! Will be fun to toy around with it and switch it up a bit.

My buddy has that gun but the last gen version. I believe it is the most versatile Glock out on the market. It is a little snappy on the recoil which I don't like but I can easily handle a .45

The Glock 23 whips up on the recoil while the 21/30 version, which is a .45, pushes back. I prefer the .45

Never got into it, not a gun fan, which is weird cause as a kid I used to love toy guns and loved playing with them. Guess I got old.
