Boy Meets World (tv show)
how many of you grew up watching this show?
was one of my all time favorites growing up, and with the show, "girl meets world" close to broadcasting, its reminding me of my childhood love for this show. currently, groupon has a deal for all the seasons on dvd for 60 bucks
some current famous faces got their start on that show. most notably, adam scott (parks and rec fame)
so for those of you who followed the show,
do you have a favorite character?
episode?
time frame: ie jr high years, high school years, or their weird ass college days?
personally, i was always a big eric fan. and the fact that he voiced terry mcginnis on batman beyond(my favorite batman series) made my love for him grow even more.

I watched the show. I just loved that the only other thing I saw the dad in was American History X, where he was the racist father. Quite the contrasting father figures.

Older Eric has got to be my favorite character.... ****ing hilarious
the college years/cory topanga marriage wasn't very good
high school years were the best.
My favorite episode is when they graduate high school... the one where cory lets out chickens in the school as a prank

Induuubitably

Next to Kapowski, Topanga was the cause of many childhood erections.

yeah, the eric and jack era was great.
it was always weird that as both matthew bros got older, their characters acted dumber and dumber.

they are finishing up production on the first season of, "girl meets world"
which is based on the married lives of corey and topanga and their kids.
ive seen pics of episodes that have alan (dad), amy (mom) and shaun all making appearances. i hope they get eric to be in a few episodes too. which doesnt seem impossible, since eric is involved with disney

Reminds me of Raphael in TMNT. Everybody seems to love him, but Raph was always a whiny, moody, over-sensitive bitch.

Prolly seen every episode of BMW
I think I like the Middle School years the best. They didn't feel as corny as contrived cuz the main characters were adolescents so there's more room for forgiveness. Plus, Eric seemed more like a real, fully realized character and not just comedic sidekick with no other dimensions. Only time he did any 'real' acting once they were older is the episode where Cory and Topanga clean out the garage and he caught feelings.
Favorite episode was prolly the one where Cory loses his Pops silver boxing gloves when he is in scuba diving class, realizes the achievement, breaks into the pool to find the Silver Gloves. Good stuff

I read Topanga runs a muh fckn frozen yogurt shop in the new series...wtf.
We were always lead to believe she was the overachiever type, Yale caliber student, law school type and she goes from that to Frozen Yogurt?
Struck me as a tad odd decision. Shoulda had her be an important lawyer and Cory doin some trite costumer service bullshit
