New Orleans Jazz (birthplace of Jazz is actually in NOLA)
Washington Bullets (name prior much better)
Charlotte Hornets (the nickname of the city is 'the Hornets nest')
Utah Mormons (significant to the region)

Most of them are kind of lame to be honest. We could use more badass names from mythology or whatever other source, real animal names are boring IMO. You even have the case of the Phoenix Suns were the town name is more badass than the team's name Originally Posted by MightyWhitey

I agree on New Orleans Jazz, that should be a priority, especially now that the Hornets are back.
The Thunder name sucks too. Losing the Sonics for that crap was embarrassing.
