Nick Young. I really dislike him because of it too.

Re: Players Who Never Reached Full Potential
derrick coleman - one of the most skilled bigs i've ever seen. the guy could flat out ball. could do things that guys way smaller than him could do...and do them better.
eddy curry - i don't think he ever would've been a dominant force but he could've been doing like 21/9 for multiple years
darko - darko is not comparable to chris webber in any way but he can actually play. i think his attitude and situation held him back early on. he would've never made an all-star team, but could've been a solid starting center instead of a running joke

Shareef Abdul Rahim
one of the best mid range and in scorer in his younger days. All the losing in his early career really effed up his development.
Antoine Walker
97-99 Walker was a joy to watch. Good handles for a PF shame that he fell in love with the 3.

Iguodala.
Could have been so much better than he was. Super athletic, and could get to the rim at will. Great finisher too. So what does he do? Settles for contested jumpers and shoots a lot of threes, which he was never good at. If he had played aggressively, he would have been an all-nba player. But he never did.

Bran, he was hyped to be better than Jordan but never reached anywhere near that level, now he is on the downside of his career

so many injury related ones: walton, penny, hill, roy, oden. still think walton at his peak was one of the top 3 bigs to ever play...easily. the run he made in his championship season is absolutely dominant, terrific basketball in so many ways. oden was one of my fav prospects of the past decade.
really like sheik's picks too. add stromile swift to that. guys that were either lazy or didn't have the bball IQ. actually, when you look at busts, i think the NBA of all sports has the strongest case in showing how much mentality means. good or bad. maybe QBs are in the same range but not NFL overall.
also...joe alexander.
EDIT: ohh, sheed's a great pick. dude was so skilled.
