    Being serious for a moment....

The standards for a top center really are a bit depressing. I first noticed it when Theo Ratliff made it....and then Antionio Davis. And Jamal Magloire. Granted James Donaldson made it in the 80s but it was an injury replacement, he wasnt even the second best center on his own team, and Hakeem, Ewing, Moses, and Daugherty were in the game as well so its not like the league was short on centers. Just an odd pick.

Hibbert is like....one of the most respected/talked about centers in the NBA.

Im not sure where he ranks if you just drop him on the 98 Pacers. Smits, Dale Davis, and Antionio Davis would all be all star centers in todays league(in fact once centers died off both Antiono and Dale actually made it by being listed as centers).

Id like to see that lineup. Smits, Hibbert, Dale, and Antonio....4 all star centers the best of which would probably be a sensation today but was an afterthought in his day.

Young mobile Rik Smits would get 100 million from some team in free agency right now.

Don't forget the valuable teaching Kwame brings... He made Andrew Bynum.

So Hibbert gets away with muder? What about Lebron? Lebron fouls when he defends, and he fouls when he barrels into the paint.

So basically, Kwame should have been an All Star and Hibbert should be labeled a bust.
