The guy has a laughably high opinion of himself. It shines through clearly in his breakdowns. Listening to him rip Dr J's jumpshot like he was a d-leaguer and not one of the 20 greatest players to ever live, made me want to vomit. Even if he was right.

I'm not disagreeing the guy's an idiot, or agreeing with it, but you realize percentages aren't based on number of shots taken right? No matter how many shots they take by the end of the year.. 200/400 or 500/1000, it's still 50%.

But it's harder to maintain a high percentage the more you shoot, that's what makes Coach Nick's point so dopey. Look at James Harden. His best year percentage-wise was 2012, but that's only because he shot less. He's also clearly a more effective player now.

More shots = more defensive attention = lower percentages.
