And yet most of you idiots would say that Kobe's 2006 run was garbage.

    Hilarious.

It's not like he wasn't shooting 30 FGs and 12 FTs a game.

    Context people.

Jordan's FT's are more legimitimate for two reasons:

    1. League Rules/Style - more physical, less ticky tacky calls

    2. MJ is easily the better slasher.

Kevin's FT on the other hand....

INB4 rip throw move... kev be like "foul ref!!!"

Not really. Durant will lose in the playoffs again this year.

KD wouldn't be able to score on 80s defenses. Imagine KD going up against the Bad Boy Pistons without the protection he gets from the refs now, he wouldn't even average 20 IMO.

What wer LeBron and Jordan doing in the playoffs at 25 years old?

Seriously, when did you become such an annoying, bitter, shit poster? Most of the time I see you post now it's just to irrationally hate on Durant.

    Durant averaged 7 3pt attempts to MJ's 1.

And MJ still averaged more points.

Both are amazing scorers. KD might go down as the 2nd greatest scorer behind MJ. Also, it was amazing that MJ started his streak on his 122nd career game.
    Yes, he did..

    Let me get those stats..

Can we please acknowledge that this is streak vs streak, not KD vs Jordan?

Let's not ignore the fact that in 1988-89, Jordan had a 40 game stretch of 31/8/10 on 53/31/85 shooting. He had ****ing 7 STRAIGHT triple doubles, and 10 in 11 games.

In the entire season, he put up 33/8/8/3/1 on 54/28/85 shooting (61 TS%), with 31.1 PER, 123 ORTG 103 DRTG. Not to mention his absolutely ferocious, GOATworthy perimeter defense.

Durant is an absolute monster right now, without a doubt an all-time great. But we need to stop equating 2 scoring streaks to 2 careers. Durant is nowhere near Jordan yet. YET.

    1) ESPN is playing you chumps like a fiddle as always with their arbitrary stats. Looks like they hopped off the 'X games LeBron has gone scoring 23 pts while shooting over 54%' and are now firmly on the Servant's bandwagon.

    2) Jordan doesn't even hold the record, Wilt does... by a ton of games.

    3) Good to see people have latched on to a new 'gonna surpass Jordan' player. Good luck with that shit. Should be fun while it lasts

If Durant didn't get his dick sucked by the refs he'd have a lot less haters.
