Default On the battle between the top 2 PG's in the league, Westbrook owned Parker.

    Westbrook 27/6/1/4, 50% shooting, 30 minutes

    Parker 6/3/4/0 30% shooting, 26 minutes

Westbrook holding down his title as best PG in the league. Parkers last chance to reclaim the title will be in the WCF this year.

Parker looked so shook out there. Westbrook make him his bitch.

Spurs just can't handle OKC. Too much athleticism and firepower at all the positions their star players play, hence they have to put in maximum efforts on both sides of the ball. Only thing I can think of.

Yeah, gonna suck even more for the Spurs in the playoffs when Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, and Reggie are all ramping their minutes up as well.

18 turnovers a game is the best point guard

    Yep.

I'm not exactly sure who'll be in the WCF's this year. You'd have to think OKC and Spurs, but at the same time, even the first round match ups of Memphis or Dallas match up well against both those teams. Wouldn't be shocking to see both teams go to 6 or 7 in the first round.

OKC is playing the Clippers in the 2nd round too... How well do you guys play against them? From what I remember, they've both won their home games this season, each putting up a decent effort against the other on the opposing court.
    Gonna be a great series.

Clippers will take OKC to 5 games and lose. They just don't present any real matchup problems for OKC. Their whole lob city shit that is a staple in their offense during the regular season won't help them at all vs OKC in the playoffs with OKC being even more athletic than the Clippers + hustling on every possession.

OKC's length and athleticism will help them harass the Clippers on D and on offense, well... OKC clearly wins that battle.

Think I've alluded to this before. In the playoffs Griffin and Paul are closer in impact to Reggie Jackson and Serge Ibaka than Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

Westbrook when healthy is obviously the superior player.

Should say "Westbrook is the best player at the PG position" instead for all the incredibly sensitive and insecure people that love those assist/turnover ratios, regardless if the team wins or loses.

Good thing Westbrook only cares about wins and not pointless stats, it allows him to go all out and energize his team. You will never see him passive in a close game. Can't say the same about that other PG vs the Mavs today.

Yup, but he still knows when to defer to Durant and does it often. It's badass. He's also making a lot more splash plays down the stretch in close games than someone like CP3 would. When he locks in on defense and shuts his opponent down like he did with Parker tonight, thats also badass too.

It's called the "Goatbrook zone", only ninja turtles like Russ and Rondo can enter it.

I think people forget Westbrook was defensive player of the year in the PAC-10 in college and was a monster perimeter defender being one of the main reasons he went so high when some expected him to go as low as pick #10 and weren't accounting for his defense.

I wouldn't call him a defensive stopper because he still gambles too much on that end, but when he's locked in? Good ****ing luck, thats all I can say. Oh, and have fun watching him outjump and outrebound your big men and then instantly turn up the floor and outrun your whole team for a vicious dunk.

Why aren't more coaches exploiting this double technical bullshit? All OKC had to do was send in Adams and have him hook arms with Duncan or some shit and then just give him a little shove for another double technical and ejection for Duncan.

Warriors did that shit and it worked for getting Blake Griffin ejected and they won. Heat exploited the double technical bullshit to get Stephenson ejected. If the refs are going to be little bitches and call double technicals for one clown overreacting to nothing and shoving a player, coaches need to adapt and start exploiting it more often to take good players out of the game.
