It's pretty even, but Westbrook gets more steals and corrals alot more (offensive) rebounds.. that kind of stuff makes him deadly in the open court and valuable in getting extra shots for OKC. Parker is quicker and a better finisher, but Westbrook seems faster, more athletic, and is a triple double threat on his best nights. his defense on Parker tonight was excellent.

Whether it's Parker/Duncan, Magic/Kareem, Kobe/Shaq, Jordan/Pippen, Wade/Bosh, etc. You NEED a 1-2 punch to win multiple championships in this league.

Clowns who don't understand that are just...

Let's just do this season, where Clips are 2-1, including missing JJ for a night in a win. (PTS|REB|AST|STL|TO FG%/3PT%/FT% | FGA)

    CP: 16.3 | 6.7 | 13.3 | 1.0 | 2.0 on 44.7/28.6/100[11-11] | 12.7 FGA
    RW: 14.6 | 5.0 | 7 | 1.3 | 3.7 on 34.1/28.6/71.4[10-14] | 14.6 FGA

    Not even close

Head-to-head matchups hold very little water in a "who's better" debate, unless it is over the course of a 7-game series in the playoffs.

Kyrie Irving has routinely outplayed Russell Westbrook over the years when they've gone head-to-head. I wouldn't argue Irving is the better player (yet) as a result.

H2H is only worth bringing up when your guy is the one flourishing. Otherwise, the same people hailing it will be the first to dismiss it.

We will see who shows up in the playoffs.

Curry vs Westbrook vs Paul vs Conley vs Parker vs Lilard vs Dragic vs Ellis vs Harden. So many exciting guard matchups.

Not many people know this but Westbrook was last years Blake Griffin. He got better as the season went along. His first game of the season, Parker hit a game winner against him.

Than I noticed as the season went on, he started dominating elite PGs like Parker and CP3. Whereas before it would either be a tie or they would win the matchup.

I hope Thunder spank them in the playoffs. Don't want to go to the finals against San Antonio again

Yea, after the All-Star break he was the best PG, with Curry close second. He averaged like 24/6/5 on 46/32/81% and was even better than Durant in some months.

It was looking like he would have a great playoffs but then the injury happened. And even this season he started out playing like shit and had to rest after surgery, but gradually got better as time went on and he recovered. He is a slow starter, but once he gets rolling Thunder look unstoppable.
