If you watched any random game from the 80s, you'll see that a charge was rarely ever called if not at all. Its still very odd to me to see a charge call sometimes... sure as hell dont see it in pickup games or even intramural games

Seems weird that tough guys like Wallace, Rodman and Artest are so willing to go down hard just to get a call.
