    lol

Not sure tbh. Parker is more NBA ready and will probably always be the better pure scorer, but I feel like Exum wants to come to LA more. Tough call.

This is great news for the Lakers. Even if we stay at 6th, we can still choose Exum. (Let's say the top 5 is Wiggins, Jabari, Embiid, Randle and Smart.)
Of course that a top 3 pick would be much better but now Lakers won't get a good player only if we fall back.

Unless you are assuming Smart will go 5th because Exum threatens to return to Australia, you're high if you think a team is drafting Smart before Exum.

Smart is Lance Stephenson with 2/3s the talent. I rather take my chances on Gordon being Blake-lite than Smart being Wade-lite.

    2) Teams don't draft Exum because they don't need guards (Wiggins/Embiid/Parker won't slide down)

    3) Silver compensates the Lakers for setting the franchise back after the failed CP3 trade and rigs the lottery for us

Parker because he is the safest pick. But Exum's two-way potential is certainly intriguing
two-way potential is just another word to say jabari stinks defensively

Bad choices happens all the time on NBA drafts. I think that team could pass on Exum because he's not american and didn't play in college and they saw Smart closely in the last 2 years.
Or maybe the 5th pick doesn't want a guard and take Gordon or Vonleh.

So I'm not supposed to react to the news? We won the last two games of the year and if Jabari didn't declare, we were pretty much ****ed. Not looking forward to overpaying for free agents, or going through 3-4 more middling seasons. Now we have an outside shot at picking up a franchise player.

Jabari declaring helps more than just the Lakers. It helps all teams that won't have one of the first two picks. Your reaction isn't thread worthy.

Were all the threads mocking Lakers fans after the Utah/SA games thread worthy?

I didn't think that this thread bothered you so much. I'll have to keep that in mind in the future.
