League warns Ujiri - Don't say "**** BROOKLYN" anymore
I was kind of offended. He might want to try "**** the Nets", "**** Jason Kidd", or my favorite, "**** that big douchebag Kevin Garnett". But leave Brooklyn out of it!
Oh, and probably when kids are in the crowd and you are in mgmt, yelling "****" might be a bad idea anyway...
Somehow he escapes without a fine.

Spends more time attempting to discreetly discredit and bash the Nets than paying attention to the damn team he supports.

**** NJ too.
I had to post this. How could no Net fan post that the league said saying **** BROOKLYN is not allowed?
Plus Ujiri is already by sworn nemisis.

Suck one!
doesnt bother me he said it, trying to hype up an up and coming young squad in a market thats hard to penetrate due to the dominance of hockey up there. A little childish but whatever puts butts in the seats and expands the game outside the US.

Oh, i thought it was awesome. Stupid, because you don't yell **** with kids in the stands at a rally. Plus joking aside, **** THE NETS makes more sense than **** BROOKLYN. The majority of Brooklyn doesn't give a shit about Nets/Raptors.
It's nice there is some legit hate in these playoffs, much more fun.

They were closer to me when in East Rutherford and Newark too, but move to Brookyln was for the better in the short term and long term.
Only going to miss getting affordable tickets because they would never sell out in New Jersey, and hopping on NJ transit to catch a game with not too much hassle.
WAS One of the few reasons I'd spend a day in Newark during the Nets finals NJ days, but I miss the convenience a bit.

Yeah im like 20 minutes south of newark like 30 from the city, So im close to all that shit when im not at school in New Brunswick. I miss the pru games, so close, so cheap. But i agree in the long term very solid move. Just wish they had retained some of the old nets jerseys... so sick in most variations

Re: League warns Ujiri - Don't say "**** BROOKLYN" anymore
He was really just trying to hype the crowd. I don't think he expected this much attention from it. It's funny because NONE of the attention or responses are coming from the Nets-- just the fans themselves. It was silly for him to say that, especially as a veteran in this league but I stopped thinking about it a few minutes after he said it. Game two is tomorrow. That quote should not be so relevant anymore.
