I didn't like it in the past with some of my past girlfriends, but with my current girlfriend, I have way more trust. I've seen how she reacts to guys hitting on her without her knowing I saw (example, coming back from buying drinks or from the bathroom and she didn't know I was on my way back yet).

Edit: Just read the full description of the OP, I honestly can't imagine my closest friends doing anything. If they looked, I wouldn't overreact because I know they wouldn't ever do anything other than find her attractive with zero intent (bros before hoes mentality I guess you could say). Acquaintances? That is a different story. They should know that my girl is off limits (and not going to work anyway), but boundary issues could end the acquaintance.

Good thread. This happens where I live a lot the moment I step outside and I catch guys doing it. Their in their cars breaking their necks, etc. I was actually wondering the same but these few days had me thinking I'm doing something right. I let it go because it means it's a good thing unless someone goes out of their way to disrespect me and her then I'm doing something. At this point it isn't worth doing something and going to jail over something like that.

True, but I meant your initial reaction. Of course it makes no logical sense to respond to it if they are just staring, same as if a dude looks at you disrespectfully, but there is some kind of initial reaction that takes place.
