Sterling must be pissed that all his jew buddies have deserted him. At this point he has two options.
1. Sell Clippers for a massively inflated price (how bad do you want to get rid of me?) and call it a victory.
2. Take it all the way to the courts and bleed it out real slow.

I guess it depends what he wants. A truckload of more money, or a chance to go down fighting as an 81 year old before he dies. I guess it depends whether he starts getting death threats from Magic's people.

Now is a better moment, the future owners dont care about the present. Even better forcing players to boycott a game bring additional media attention and accumulate adverse perception for Sterling. Better yet they might buy at a discount due to the public turmoil.

By the way, the group Magic has involved with, Guggenheim Partners, has not only bought Dodgers but also got into media business also, buying Dick Clark Productions and looking to buy other media businesses.

They had put their investment heavily into Los Angeles area, Dodgers and recently LA Sparks of WNBA. They tried to buy Lakers also but failed.
