Best thing about the playoffs is that defense gets a little bit of the spotlight.

Only if it were that easy. Durant can't even get open, much less get the ball.
Allen is just a fcuking beast.

Refs have been letting guys get away with FAR more contact on D this postseason. They're holding the whistles on the usual touch fouls, rip through nonsense, etc. It's not just the Memphis series though, it's league wide. Same reason Harden is shitting the bed.
Guys are getting a small taste of what it was like to play on the perimeter pre-2000s, and they're getting badly exposed (except Bron).
Hopefully this is a harbinger for what the Silver era will look like

is silver really the reason for a lot of these no calls?

No idea, but it's clear that it's a league-wide phenomenon. I know refs have meetings with league officials and discuss their marching orders/agenda for the playoffs. They've clearly clamped down on the usual touch foul calls and overall soft whistles of the regular season. Usually happens in the playoffs, but not to this degree.

He can't establish position, they just end up wasting 20 seconds on the shot clock. Do you even watch the games?

Fouls get called all over the place in the GSW-LAC series.

This is a problem within the NBA itself though. Vets with defensive reputations are allowed to play more physical than youngersters(rookies/sophmores). You could be the greatest defender of all-time and you'll still be called for a shit ton of fouls if you're new to the league.
On topic, yeah TA's defense has been great.

Yeah definitely agree with this. Half the battle of being a good defender is the reputation you get with the refs.
The Grizzlies coach even said he isn't starting Allen because he knows the officials react to Tony Allen and he's trying to bring him in later so that they let him play more physical or some shit.

Tony Allen isnt to blame for Durants broken shot. Which has been gone for a while, nobody noticed.
Well okay, Durant has this strange notion that Tony Allen will come up and block his 7 foot self out of nowhere so he rushes on the easiest attempts. It's pretty pathetic.

Yes and No. Tony started coming off the bench when he was injured for around 3 weeks and they traded for Lee. Lee is the better offensive player so he stuck with a Prince out there. Joerger likes to get away with playing Prince as much as possible before he brings Allen in to run crazy when some of the starters start needing a break. As long as Prince can at least be neutral, it's a win for the Grizzlies. If he's making shots too, that just a bonus. He's got the best size for Durant and doesn't typically make mistakes so that's why he starts. Allen is the change of pace guy to come in and cause problems and close out the game.
