With argentina he plays a real 10

Ao yes, messi does need a team, everyone does
Everyone does, but Maradona less so.
You didn't watch 1986 but I assure you, his teammates as a whole were by miles inferior to those Messi has, or to those any WC winning star ever had for that matter.

no i didn't, nor do I need to watch it to know that Maradona won the wc all by himself, it was him vs 11 players..

Cant wait till the WC honestly, all of these comparisons get boring

I really hope Nigeria does well, we haven't done well in the friendlies. Hopefully we beat Iran, Bosnia is a different story however. The winner of that I believe will advance to the next round, I've been saying that since the groups were out. Very excited for the tournament to say the least.

What do you think about the projected formation here?
Since both Oduamadi and Igiebor are out, LJJ and I decided to post a 433 formation instead of the 4231 you had suggested.

why isn't ikechukwu uche on the nigeria squad? guy had a good year for villarreal and is better than middling players like odemwingie and ameobi

If we go 433 I can see Uchebo being the Central attacking mid or if we go 4231 maybe Odemwingie in the center. Really depends on what Keshi thinks, I thought Nosa would have been a certain for the team, guess not.

Martin's yes, Taiwo though I haven't heard from since he left QPR. Keshi is trying to bring youth in our country. Players like Martins, Taiwo, Yakubu, Yobo, just to name a few are considered players of our last generation, though it was short. Some consider those players "bribery" players as it was believed they bribed our football federation for national team playing time. Keshi wants to remove those players out of our system and start anew.

All of Nigeria's players are 40 year olds with fake passports.
