Hmm... how many rings did they have at that age each? And what were their career stats at 29?

LeBron been in the NBA for 11 years: 2x rings
Jordan in the NBA for 11 years: 4x rings

In the 1992 finals when Jordan was down by 20, he sat on the bench and the rest of the Bulls eased the deficit and gained the lead.

Wait this thread was about age 29, not 11 seasons. Unfair to use LeBron at 18/19 against him.

What are their career stats at age 29? Serious question. Obviously, we all know they had 2 rings/FMVPs at age 29

Yea, that happens. MJ closed it out doe. They weren't on the brink of elimination when John Paxson hit a series saving legendary three, off the luckiest of bounces. Bulls were winning that series regardless.

age should be the factor, not years in the league. MJ came in the league a better player thanks to college.
coming in the league earlier because you were an NBA calibre player is not a negative. Age is all that matters. ability to play longer is a positive.

    92' Finals: 21/8/8 from Pippen.
    14' Finals: 15/4/3 from Wade.

MJ is the GOAT Finals performer, though.

seasons or age, Jordan is probably ahead of Lebron at this moment.

but I mean, the guy is going to disappear for about 2 years anyways.

so if we were to make this comparison at 31/32 wouldn't it be more fair.

since..... we ALREADY know how Jordan's career will pan out.

LeBron really should have padded his stats more though the first 2 rounds so the ppg looks similar to MJ, some 30+ ish
