Hornets already had prime Dell Curry & Glen Rice starting at SG & SF, so another SG wouldn't have been their top priority anyay, they were pretty solid at the 1,2,3, they needed a big man coming into the draft and they got Divac in the trade, it was a smart move by the Hornets as Kobe was just a prospect at 17 years old.
