Default Which former superstar players aged the most gracefully?

So who do you guys think saw their game mature, and age, the most gracefully after hitting 'superstar status'? Guys like Vince Carter come to mind. His game has changed and made him a capable role player well outside of his prime.

It really is incredible how Vince has aged. In his prime, he was so reliant on athleticism and he was injury prone...few would have seen this coming.

Meanwhile, Allen Iverson has been out of the league for like 4 years

He was 5'10 and attacked the rim 40 times per night with the intensity of a bran james every time

Of course he didnt last long, especially when he lost his quickness... It was sadly just over for AI

Doc Rivers finished off his career as a solid rotation player.

Not that he was a superstar.

Sam Cassell, Billups are two more than found nice roles at the end of their career.

KAJ. He was still top 5 in MVP voting and all-NBA first team as late as his 17th season and was still an all-star in his 18th before becoming a role player for his final two seasons.

Vince Carter at age 36 is really not bad a player at all.

Sure he's no longer prime 25/4/4 with highlights every single night...

but look at this Mavericks years per 36 minute numbers

field goal may not be the best, but fewer shots per game and more reliant on outside with ever improved outside shot.

plus he still has the ability to make a poster or two
