I Finished up a Pick up Game when it Dawned on Me

I'm not strong enough. I'm sick of losing when i can prevent it. I'm sick of being told i'm not good enough or I wasn't blessed with freakish athleticism. I want to get strong enough where I can dunk all over people, rain shots from anywhere on the court, or keep the person i'm guarding in a straitjacket. I'll get back to you all when I can do that. Work on the fundamentals of the game. A real triple threat. You can train hard and improve your vertical but unless you're tall and a gifted athlete chances are you're wasting your time.

There's an abundance of Basketball players out there who are all style and no substance.

I've always enjoyed courts with smaller amount of teams
because then stamina even comes in to play.

and that's when the will to compete might get you a few bucket.
