With a good enough script and director, Michael Cera would make a convincing Batman. I'm exaggerating, but the casting is the least of my concerns with this film. Everything else about it makes it seem like a fvcking fiasco.

Agreed completely. Zack Snyder and David Goyer worry me a thousand times more than Ben Affleck ever could.

What will happen: Batman finds some ridiculous loophole to escape from his encounter with Superman, thus elongating the plot to stupid proportions. Then last, but not least a sequel hook is shown....

He's wearing his supersuit to fight Superman like in The Dark Knight Returns comic.

Nolan trilogy is pretty overrated. Begins has garbage action scenes. Dark Knight is very boring outside Joker and Rises is just meh.

We all have our opinions. I love the trilogy. I don't mind the garbage action scenes in Batman Begins because that's not what the story is, it's how he became Batman, which in itself is a first in any Batman movie, showing the actual journey. The Dark Knight is my favorite the suspense of what The Joker was planning to do made it great. Loved the decoy scene. The Dark Knight Rises had more action in it than any of the movies, but the story plot was sub-par to me. The biggest thing that glares in my mind is how Bane died. He dies by Catwoman shooting him with the gun on the bike. Crappy way to end an epic villain.

Only comic book films that are overrated? Superman: TM, The Avengers, and possibly Cap Winter Soldier. Which BTW is a diluted, child like TDK rip off. Oh yea, but that's overrated outside THE MAIN antagonist of the entire film. The mental gymnastics people will go through in an attempt to sound unique.

Marvel Studios is shitting themselves right now. Bats v Supes owned SDCC 2014. The score in that short clip is amazing. I'm even pumped for Affleck's take on the Batman now. It won't be TDK trilogy quality, but then again nothing else in this genre of film ever will be.

Man of Steel was average at best. I would be ten times more excited if this movie wasnt directed by Sydner. I wouldnt be worried if I was Marvel.

The Dark Knight Trilogy was great except for the last one which was just okay. But it was highly stupid.
