Our relay team sucked and I was only a freshman when I ran so the highest they let me run is JV and our JV team sucked. I think my fastest time near the end of the year was 2:09 I think. That was my first year ever too and that's pretty good.

Yeah that's good, I was a natural sprinter and I guess jumper though I never jumped in high school I wish I had. Never could competently do that middle distance or long distance stuff. I can still probably smoke most people in a 40, or a 100, or out jump them. A few years ago I was a walk on to a summer Track and Field meet and won the long jump, I didn't quite clear 20 feet but considering I hadn't ever done it before my 19' 8" jump on terrible form surprised everyone, including me. I ran the hurdles in high school, don't even remember my times at this point I just remember some of the invitationals that I PR'd or placed well.

If you learn and practice trail leg form your knees should never hit. If you can do middle distance well than 300 or 400 distance hurdles could be something you are also potentially competent at
