I think there's a possibility. Even though he's said "Laker for life" countless times, he does want that 6th ring.. bad. And I don't see the Lakers in even playoff contention these next 2 years.

If he did get to a point where he would demand to leave, they could amnesty him and he could sign elsewhere for the minimum while the lakers would still have to pay his salary. Good thing is it wouldn't count against the lakers cap either. Originally Posted by FKAri
