Yes there should be equality in all facets of life, however one thing we can never be equal in is physical size and strength. Men have the power to destroy women on a physical level but that does not mean we should exercise that power whenever we see fit. I have not followed this case closely. What did Ray Rice say to the first person who happened upon the scene? Did he disclose that he'd just knocked her out? Or did he try to pass it off as a case of her being intoxicated or something?
