I've said it many times here on ISH. These are two of my top most overrated movies ever.

I'm very surprised at this since I believe it to be the best year in movies since some of those years in the 90s...actually 2000 was an amazing year after reading this thread. Anyway...
2013 had not just good movies, but great movies. Modern classics some of them.
Elite
Wolf of Wallstreet
Her
Prisoners
Before Midnight
Dallas Buyers Club

American Hustle
Don Jon
Hunger Games: catching fire
Les Miserables
Frozen
The Conjuring
Saving Mr. Banks

I agree.
I feel similarly about Donnie Darko, but to a lesser extent. I did like the film when I first saw it and talked about it for a while, but after multiple viewings I think people overrate it quite a bit.

2000 for me.
Yi Yi is one of my personal favorite movies ever.
Gladiator is the best Hollywood joint of the 00s.
A couple of very decent movies in their shadow like Traffic, American Psycho, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, O Brother Where Art Thou, Memento. Pretty solid.
