Is the pacific northwest the 'nicest' part of the country?

Not nice as in friendly necessarily but just clean and hospitable and low on things like traffic/crime/pollution/etc.

Ive been to Yosemite once but never to any of the actual cities/towns north of SF.


Is it pretty nice up there? Ive heard pretty good things.

For me, Southern California all the way up to top of Washington are great. Normal people, beautiful scenery, any kind of weather you want.

West coast is just the best part of the country by far.

Just compare it to the East coast: Rednecks and bandwagoners down in Florida, confederates all the way up to west virginia, shitty Baltimore aka Bodymore Murdaland, shitty boring Boston full of bandwagoner Bostonians, Philadelphia, the Detroit of the East, New Jersey-nuff said, Delaware-wtf is that place all about, assholes in New York, and then WASP assholes from Connecticut to Maine. East coast is nothing but a bunch of rednecks and rotting cities full of miserable people with piss poor weather.

The people are chill, but if you dislike sunny days...the weather is awful. If the weather affects your mood you will hate the pacific northwest as most days are overcast and dreary (or rainy). Nice chill people though, definitely.

I've never lived anywhere other than the 2-oh.

I ain't into outdoor activities too much. But Seattle is rare city you can go skiing In mountains and go to ocean in an hour, hour and a half drive.

All types of water. Puget sound. Lake washington. Other lakes. Lots of dope parks.

Everyone always says it's one of most beautiful cities on America.

It's basically two citites to. South Seattle, white people minority. North Seattle, eastside , Bellevue white and rich as FUCC.

Traffic sucks ass everywhere. Crime high in south end. Low in Northend.

If your into nature and shit, yea it's gotta be one of the best parts in country.

It is true. From mid - end October till bout April, it's dark , gloomy and wet. Breaking out all my north faces now... Spring and summers perfect. 70-85 sunny. This time of year sucks, we know it's bout to be 6 months of gloom.

You need to drive everywhere. I had so much fun partying with my NYC friends there, just hopping a train, walking or taxing to the next bar, in LA someone needs to drive or you risk a DUI. Cabs are retardedly expensive too.

So Cal is seriously segregated. The demographics might be multicultural, but people often roll with their own kind and there can be serious beef if you pursue women from other ethnic groups. Certain cities are basically just lumps of people from certain countries.

You need to make 6 figures to even consider being middle class, let alone live comfortably.

Most people aren't from here, so they treat the place like shit, most of LA looks and feels like a Latin American dumpster fire, and there isn't enough civic pride for anyone to give a f*ck.

People are dumber in California. East Coast people are much more articulate and interesting to hang with, most Californians cannot even speak in proper sentences.

I'm from Florida, grew up in Miami. Hate Miami. Florida is not too appealing. But it could be worse. I visited Seattle once and was so impressed. Thought about moving there or maybe California, even if there are some things that I don't like about there.
