xbox 360 was killing the ps3 for awhile too, until the end of their cycles when ps3 finally started catching up. i think they ended up pretty even, but the 360 was ahead for much of the time. point being, it's only one year in. it's still early.

exactly. i don't want one dominant console. we need 2-3 strong ones to keep pushing each other (although it looks like nintendo got KO'ed early this generation).

same goes for PC operating systems and phone platforms.
