Karl Malone is genuinely a mean person on the court. I remember the year he signed with the Lakers. They had drafted Brian Cook in the first round and there was a scrimmage in camp. Karl Malone was beating the shit out of Cook. Elbowing him in the head and stuff. Nothing to do with ball just smacking the crap out of him on the floor

The look on Cook's face made me feel bad. And then a couple years later he starting shooting every time down the floor like he was Stojakovic and I wanted Karl back just to kick his ass
