    Default ESPN ranks Kobe #40

I'm sure some people are going to disagree very strongly with ESPN here.

Personally I think it will be all about his health. If he can stay reasonably healthy, I think he's still an all-star level player. He's got the skill set to play at a very high level, even if the athleticism is not there, it's just a matter of making the necessary mental adjustment.
If he's not healthy, which is not exactly unlikely at his age and coming of some major injuries, then #40 might be far too high.

Seems about right. He's in the low 30s at best.

The people ranked just around Kobe are Andre Igoudala at #39 and Eric Bledsoe at #41.

    That's unrealistic.

He may get hurt soon, thus not even being top 250. Or he is realtively healthy. If so, he wil be no worse than Wizard's MJ. Not a top 5 or a clear cut top 10 player any more, but an all-star with the capability of a great-great game here and there. Wizard's MJ is a top 20 player to me in those years... so I'd say Kobe is either top 20 (not hurt) or not even top 250 (hurt).

    40?

Yo, I know Kobe's now up there in age and coming off injuries, but he's still Kobe and this is still today's League. He's at least top 15, IMO.

Watching SportsCenter right now, and according to my main man Chris Broussard several NBA talent evaluators are saying Kobe is DUN.
In all honesty, I think ESPN may have ranked him a little too high.

I don't believe it. Where's the Kobe tweet with 87 hashtags condemning it?

He's a big question mark, just like Derrick Rose.

Who knows how they will be?

The injuries make them hard to rank. Kobe is also old with a ton of mileage on his body.

Might as well just take a wild guess.

Derrick Rose looks healthy and physically up to par though. Big difference. His game is broken right now, but Kobe's body is broken.
