Yeah blame the entire series on a role player and Parsons for not being prime Artest on defense.
Might as well blame Dwight for not averaging 40/20.
Parsons was so bad McHale had to put Harden on his man. Think about that for a second. Harden...
Harden did play like ass, and that last switch was his fault, but Houston was beaten by Lillard and Aldridge. Harden had nothing to do with either of them.
Don't get me wrong, I blame them all, minus Dwight who played like the star that he is, but Lin's costly turnovers (remember when he tried to dribble away after specifically being instructed to call timeout, and then turned the ball over), his bad decision making (remember when he got his lay up tossed when all Houston had to do was dribble the clock out) was the biggest problem. Lin shot 41% and Lillard dropped career nights on him, so lets not pretend like he was awesome.
Lin (who played like the scrub he is)
Jones (who didnt play much, because he couldnt play much, because he couldnt defend)
Harden/Parsons (both played like doo doo)
Those were the biggest losers of that series, in that order.

Yes, that's him. He literally plays zero defense and got torched by everyone wearing a Blazers jersey. Don't forget Lillard's game winner is on Parsons. He lost him. Opened his mouth and didn't back it up.
He's just an overrated player.

Induuubitably
Re: Parsons is who we thought he was...
Yes, he's exactly who we thought he is. A very talented 3rd option on a playoff team gearing to make noise all year long. Perhaps he even eventually blossoms into a 2b, which is perfectly fine and viable. Let the hate fizzle and just call it what it is...

The Celtics just dropped 113 in Dallas, compliments of Parsons defense.
They scored 90 in Houston.
Say what you want about the schedule, but Houston has four double digit wins.

Re: Parsons is who we thought he was...
Also, what's with the BS about Batum dominating the matchup with Parsons?
Parsons - 19.3ppg, 6.8rpg, 2.3apg, 44%, 36%, 73%.
Batum - 15.8, 5.8, 5.2, 46, 30, 88.
Some real domination, guys.
Parsons won the matchup and Batum had the better team.
