Shariah Law Gets BANNED by Alabama

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), took to Facebook to denounce the amendment, calling it “virulently racist” and motivated by “outright hostility towards Muslims.”

Alabama Statewide Amendment 1 reads:

“Called “The American and Alabama Laws for Alabama Courts Amendment,” Amendment 1 relates to the application of foreign law during the legal process involving an Alabama citizen. Foreign law refers to the laws of other countries or cultures. Currently, judges or other legal authorities discern whether foreign law is applied. Amendment 1 would create constitutional protection that foreign law is not applied if it violates the guaranteed rights of Alabama citizens.”

The liberal argument against the proposed amendment is mostly that it is a solution for a nonexistent problem. Oh, and it is racist and Islamophobic.

But that is precisely why such an amendment needed to be passed. Are American citizens supposed to wait until they find themselves being ruled over by a foreign set of laws before doing something about it? Of course not!

The voters of Alabama should be commended for taking the proactive step of ensuring that they will never be faced with Sharia Law, or any other foreign set of laws, in their state. It appears that this, along with the other amendment measures on their ballot, have passed with wide margins.

It's certainly vital for Alabama to regulate their out of control Muslim populations. Sure, it may sound like a totally useless amendment only meant to get a rise out of xenophobic know-nothings, but the state has to ensure the safety of its often forgotten, neglected white Christians. Good move, state legislature and voters!

Shariah Law actually approves of hangings, stonings, beheadings, and other types of cruel punishment and murder. So posting pictures of hangings actually enforces the thought that Shariah law should never even be a whisper or a thought in this country.

Good for Alabama.

Sharia law is very controversial within the Muslim community worldwide. Like everything related to religion, it comes down to interpretation and ones culture. Sharia law does have it's benefits, but sadly some extremists corrupt it and that's what we hear about.

It is a good thing and a good precedent to set because Islamic law is being incorporated in wills. By banning Sharia Law it is a good step forward in prevention.
