He's leading the league in Points Per Play off of post ups (of players that have 50 or more touches down low).

Just watching Cavs games, the offense seems so much cleaner when they run it through Love. What's the point of having this guy when you force him to give up so many touches? He's not a good defender. His value comes from being a dominant offensive player, which he can't be if the Cavs let almost all the offense run through Lebron and Kyrie.

Love can shoot from anywhere, he's a great finisher, has an entire book of post moves, gets to the line and hits FT's, AND IS A GREAT PASSER. You can run an offense around Love. Him running handoffs from up high= beautiful.

His stats may not look great, because he's not getting tasty post up opportunities.

Last season 25% of his shots were at the rim and 35% of his shots were 3's

so far this season 20% of his shots have been at the rim and 43% of his shots have been 3's

This means he's not in offensive rebounding position, which further decreases his usefulness on offense. He's not being used properly, and that's a fact.
