I'm not debating how they would do head to head, the fact remains both teams seasons were about even in terms of W-L record, MOV, playoff record and postseason competition. Hakeem & Dirk also carried the biggest burden out of almost any player to ever win a championship

That will depend on what you use it for. It may not be a valid way to declare a team is better than the other.
