Great college starter
Re: Wade's and LeBron's effiency without each other so far.
Wade has been efficient his entire career. I'm not sure why people thought that would suddenly change after LeBron left. He's still one of the best penetrators in the game, he's great around the rim, great in the post, has a strong midrange jumper, and is outstanding off the ball.

Re: Wade's and LeBron's effiency without each other so far.
Watch Wade and you'll understand one of the many reasons why FG% > TS/ EFG etc as long as your comparing comparing players of the same position type/ role, e.g. wing-to-wing. Why (or at least one reason why) is Wade better than low efficiency jackers like Harden/ Melo etc.? Because he makes so many more of the shots that he takes! The shots he's taking aren't easy, for the most part. In fact, I'd wager that even at this stage of his career, he takes as high of difficulty shots as anyone in the league.
You simply can't compare Wade at 52% to Harden at 40%, with Harden getting a few more points because of more pure volume shooting and 10+ FTs. You can't mix in 3pt% and FT% and get a magic number that really indicates who is better at the most fundamental part of the game: scoring against defense.
As much hate as Wade used to get in his D-Whistle days, at least he still shot in the 50% range. If the jackers shot that, they'd all be up at over 30 per game.

The only contingent of fans who honestly believed Wade wasn't going to maintain great efficiency coming into this season were the LeBron fa99ot brigade.

Decent college freshman
Re: Wade's and LeBron's effiency without each other so far.
The Wade floater, hook shot, and bank shot game is what keeps him efficient. He's no longer quick enough to just drive and dunk over defenses, but he's smart enough to play the mid-post to low-post game in an era where most SGs are worried about how to defend the drive.
The Heat have been a surprisingly fun team to watch this year with Shabazz getting playing time, Bosh producing, and random James Ennis dunks.

THANK YOU!
"true" shooting has to be the goofiest nonsense ever created, it is such inane foolishness its hard to really articulate just how stupid and useless it truly is.

NBA Legend and Hall of Famer
Re: Wade's and LeBron's effiency without each other so far.
people gave lebron a ton of credit for shooting 55%+ in miami.
now we know that this only happened because he positioned all-pros bosh and wade in the right spot so he could get quality shots.
it's called lebron ball everyone...
he just hasn't figured out how to position love and kyrie perfectly so that he get the high quality shots that he got with bosh and wade.
once he figures out how to position and subjugate these guys, lebron-ball will be back in full force and you'll see him shoot 55% again - he's just working his way towards that... a few more tweaks here and there.
