Big difference in situations between him and the other 3 you mentioned
Did Wesley Johnson, Jordan Hill, and Boozer start next to them?

Kobe is last in PER, WS/48 (by a disgustingly large margin), Box +/- (even though Play-by-Play data wasn't around until 2001, Kobe is behind Duncan and Dirk), TS%, ORtg, DRtg.

Davis has to combine his individual play with winning before taking the next step into greatness.
Is that why you said Kobe was a top MVP candidate? Surely it wasn't because his team was winning, right? So Davis isn't an MVP contender but Kobe is because Kobe has nothing left to prove? Is that your stance?

Why bring that up when all you care about is Kobe scoring?

Like I said, KAJ, Stockton and Malone were playing for something while Kobe is playing for self accolades.

Dirk, Duncan, and Stockton play much smaller roles and consequently, can put up better efficiency numbers due to being picky about the risks they take.

Why are you comparing apples and oranges?

All three of those players didn't have to carry a team on their shoulders.

It was meant to be a joke when I said Kobe was MVP.

    Calm down.

They had far better teams, obviously. Two of them played together.

As of right now, no. You have to at least make the playoffs.

They all had a bigger impact on the floor. Especially Karl Malone, who ****ing blows Kobe's production out of the water.

Kobe's having a horrible season. He's carrying his team to the second worst record in the league.

Only betas make excuses. The apples and oranges thing is all you've got, little boy.

LA had the hardest SOS through like last week . all winning record western teams. Memphis Houston clippers golden state Spurs mavs.. Pretty tough competition and most of it without nick young(whose shooting is vital for this team).

If everyone's healthy going forward they'll be around mid 20s easily.

Considering Kobe has a slighty better supporting cast than LeBrons 60+ win Cavs team, and Lakers still have one of the worst records in the league, is unacceptable
