    Default D-Wade

Is shooting about 54% at 21 ppg. 22ppg on 58% if you exclude his single worst game of the season where he went Kobe-mode.

    Harden PER 25.06
    Lebron PER 24.88
    Wade PER 24.28
    Kobe PER 20.84
    Klay PER 19.80

His mid-range has been automatic. Pull ups, fade aways, etc.

Still sucks at the free throw line though

Wade always start slow too. If he stays healthy, I can't wait to see the numbers he put up around all-star break.

He's played 10 games and shot 50 percent or better in 9 of them. The one you referenced where he was below 50% was a doozy, though, 4/18. If not for that game, he'd be the team's leading scorer and the media would have to stop pushing false narratives about the team.

His FT shooting is inexcusable, however, especially considering how good his mid-range has become. He also needs to rebound more, since the Heat need all the help they can get on the glass.

Above all, he needs to demonstratively take over the team, stat. Even if it means fewer assists and a lower FG%. The Heat can't guard anybody, so they need all the scoring they can get. That's the only way they're gonna win.

His scoring arsenal is as complete as it's ever been, but as others have mentioned he HAS to improve his FT shooting. Still though, 21/6/4 on 54% for a player who historically starts slow is nothing to sneeze at. I like him as a facilitator but I agree he needs to step up and be more assertive as a scorer. He's capable of being a 25ppg guy on good efficiency and frankly the Heat might need those type of numbers from him.

Funniest thing is all the haters before the season...saying how dwade can't adjust and that now that his athleticism is falling he isn't shit...yeah well he's averaging 21ppg on 54% basically doing whatever he has pleased scoring wise ALL WITH A GAME OF SKILL. He isn't out there splitting the double team and exploding to the rim or even attacking it in general. It's rare to see him dunk...BUT he's still doing whatever he wants with what he has. If anything he needs to shoot enough to average 25ppg in the 30-34mpg he will play because the team needs it. The sad part is just like before lebron...the heat have no pg that can really help play make and take the pressure off of wade. Chalmers is a nice player, but he's not really a good fit as a play maker...so wade is stuck with that role while having to lead the team in scoring. This isn't 2009 though and he's not 27 anymore. He's still easily doubting all you haters wrong doe.

Yeah, he's got so little explosiveness finishing around the rim now, but the large array of skillful moves he has to finish in the 5-10 foot range, and his ability to hit extremely tough shots at a high clip has allowed him to continue playing at an elite level. Still blows by most defenders on the perimeter though.

Damn, are the haters the heat fans talking about mostly LeBron stans? That's just sad. This poster was rooting for dwade's team just last year.
